8 inch Stone Cthulhu Idol in Progress

The idol I have been working on for a customer for quite some time... have it at a point where I'd like to share how it's coming along. : )
Green soapstone, about 8 1/2" high by 6" wide. Coping saw for roughing in the overall form, small wood-chisels, and a fine scribe/graver. Was 18 lbs as a raw block of stone, probably less now. Still a long ways to go, but getting there.
This is what the stone looks like before it is sanded and polished to it's true darker green color.
