New Better Quality Casts and Discounted Old Stock

The new molds made of a few older idols and two new pieces were finished. After many tests, figured out a way to eliminate most of the surface air bubbles when using the new molds. Took several tries to get it right, but they look MUCH better. : ) One thing that has helped with quality in the large pieces that were troublesome is casting them in solid resin instead of hollow like before. The other trick was preparing the molds with something to draw the viscous resin into the fine details via capillary action. Then a few things done just after pouring. Really simple, but can't believe the difference.
There was a lot of experimentation on smaller pieces first so there are casts with varying degrees of air bubbles from earlier tries.

The new better quality casts as well as the flawed pieces (discounted) are in the shop. Still trying to settle into a system of pricing that makes sense for everything. Since adding items in the last month, went through and adjusted pricing of most of the older listings to reflect the new standard of quality and changes in materials/finishing techniques... in other words, most of the older pieces are now much much cheaper than they originally were to clear them out for higher quality and better looking casts in durable resin rather than plaster. There are still more second-quality pieces not in the store that are of uncertain fate, not sure what to do with 'em yet.
