strand

finished practice painting of an oc called strand. it's a meat construct, maybe self-aware, probably harmless, almost certainly necromancy. made from intertwining stringy muscle fibers, headless with a single hollow body cavity split open along its underside with protruding flexible ribs attached to a spine. otherwise boneless. striations will occasionally part to reveal more eyes throughout its body but they are usually always open on the shoulders and thighs. stands/walks on legs but is squishy and topheavy so it moves awkwardly that way and tends to lean over to rest on its arms. unknown what creature(s??) it used to be. soft but sturdier than it looks and feels a little slimy like meat that’s gone off (because it kind of is)
